Microcontrollers

Here at Littlechip we use 32-bit microcontroller units (MCUs) for embedded development. These boards are cost-effective, provide ample functionality, and are commonly available as development boards. We often work with flash storage, RF modules, PWM, digital IO, timers, ADCs, a range of communication interfaces, electronic sensors, actuators, and low-power modes.

SBCs

Single board computers (SBCs) are generally used for more sophisticated task such as integration with existing networking infrastructure via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or ethernet, IoT development, and user interfacing. At Littlechip, we have a handful of preferred SBCs that pack plenty of processing power, lots of IO, several communications channels, and SDKs to simplify development.

PCB Design

To prototype the electronic aspects of your project, we employ several electronic design automation (EDA) software packages to create schematics and layouts of printed circuit boards (PCBs). We utilise industry-standard tools that let us generate logical circuit diagrams, include large component libraries to reduce design time, and provide applications for testing, validation and ease-of-manufacture.
